"...to equip the saint for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ." ~ Ephesians 4:12
Pastor Glenn gilpin
Pastor Glenn was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming and has spent most his life in the Rocky Mountain region. He was raised in a Christ-centered and Bible-believing home, where he came to know Jesus as his Savior and Lord as a child. Since that time he has had a great love for God’s Word — the Bible. His life objective is to know God’s Word and teach its truths to others.
Pastor Glenn attended the University of Wyoming, receiving a B.S. degree in Mathematics. While there he was involved with Campus Ventures, a campus disciple-making organization where he learned more about how to walk with God and a still-greater love for the Bible. He later attended Denver Seminary where he was granted an MA in Systematic Theology.
He has been happily married to Cathy since 1982, and they have a daughter Amber. He has been in full-time ministry for 30 years — a pastor for 27 of those. Before coming to Village he served small churches in Wyoming and Southern Colorado. He has spent time on staff with Campus Ventures student ministry and four summers in short-term missions. In addition, he has worked as a surveyor and mechanical draftsman.
Worship leader karre ann wakefield
Passionate, energetic and inspiring are three words you might use to describe Karre Ann Wakefield in a nutshell. For over 25 years Karre Ann has been sought after as a dynamic motivational speaker, singer/songwriter and most recently life coach. Her heart’s desire has always been to help others navigate their “next steps” in life and particularly as it relates to people’s closest relationships.
Currently, Karre Ann is a worship leader, learning coach and has launched a part-time coaching practice (WiReD-by-GOD). She has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 27 years, and has 3 children (Bre – 21; Grant – 16 ; and Faith – 13). When she’s not functioning in one or more of these demanding roles you might find her at the bowling alley, worshiping at the piano, or strategizing how to squeeze one more ounce out of life in the 24 hours God gave her.
