Cold Weather Care will be hosting our annual Sleep Out, where participants sleep outside in solidarity with our many community members facing homelessness in Adams County. Our goal is to raise $60,000 and spread the word about our mission. Your involvement will help highlight the importance of taking positive action to combat homelessness.
Join Cold Weather Care in bringing awareness to the plight of our homeless neighbors that end up with no place to go every night. Hundreds of people in Adams County alone
end up sleeping outdoors, in cars, park benches, overpasses, etc. Since 2009, the mission of Cold Weather Care has been providing life-saving shelter for families and individuals in Adams County during the months of October to April, the coldest months in Colorado.
CWC SleepOut isn't about pretending to be homeless. We Sleep Out so individuals experiencing homelessness can find help. When you Sleep Out, you're not just raising funds and awareness - you're showing our community and those in need your commitment to their future.
During the 15-hour Sleep Out, participants will enjoy dinner and breakfast we provide, hear some awesome musicians, learn about homelessness through interesting and fun activities, and help raise valuable funds that will allow us to continue to serve by finding personal sponsors, much like a marathon. This is an inspiring way for families to engage together in addressing this critical real-life
